Responsibilities:
The Manager of Business Development will be responsible for identifying and contacting prospects, qualifying and bringing to fruition new business relationships for 3Degrees. The Manager of Business Development must clearly define and compellingly present the value proposition of the 3Degrees offerings to large corporate or institutional customers, including Fortune 1500 companies and various channels including energy and sustainability consultants.
The ideal candidate for this position will be accomplished in renewable energy and/or carbon sales and business development and will possess strong prospecting skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex products in evolving markets. The candidate will have excellent presentation skills, high energy, integrity, authenticity, and a strong desire to help 3Degrees grow its market presence. This person should have a passion for renewable energy, teamwork and innovation, which are all characteristics of 3Degrees.

- Prior Sales Experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop business with commercial and institutional clients
- Superior communication and relationship skills
- Professional approach and deameanor
- Ability to prospect and generate new leads
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to think flexibly and adapt to changing business conditions, products and services
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Prospecting experience via cold-calling, conferences, and other mean
- Strong computer skills
Valued Experience:
- Knowledge of renewable energy, carbon and/or overall energy markets
- Experience selling financial products and services
Compensation:
- Base salary plus commission
