Description
Energy/Environmental consulting firm seeks an associate with building science experience to promote improved energy performance in the commercial, governmental, and industrial sectors.
Responsibilities include:
-Acting as a technical resource for the project team in support of the Federal Government, utilities and industry to develop voluntary partnerships dedicated to improving energy performance in the large commercial and industrial sectors
-Researching innovative applications for emerging technologies and business practices for facility energy management
-Developing and delivering technical trainings for multiple audiences
Requires technical aptitude in the building science sector, strong communication skills, ability to multitask, positive attitude, personable, and a willingness to travel. The successful candidate will demonstrate an aptitude for energy and building codes, the technical aspects of facilities management, and communicating these concepts to the building industry. Strong presentation and writing skills are essential. Requires Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering, building science, and/or energy efficiency.
