Fungi Perfecti, LLC is a family-owned business dedicated to promoting the cultivation of high quality gourmet and medicinal mushrooms. In business since 1980, we have been instrumental in developing new technologies and markets for gourmet mushrooms throughout the world.

The Brand Manager is responsible for the ongoing implementation and execution of strategic marketing and brand-building plans for Host Defense® dietary supplements in the Business-to-Business(B2B) channel. The position will support all stages of tactical development and implementation to meet sales and marketing objectives, including participation in ideation, execution of plans, and reporting on results.     
This is a full-time, exempt position with business hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; work outside of these days and hours occurs occasionally in order to meet the needs of the business. This position is located in Olympia, WA and reports directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing. Responsibilities herein represent typical elements and criteria considered necessary to perform the job successfully. Other duties may be assigned to meet emerging business needs.


  • Collaborates with Director of Sales & Marketing and Marketing Team to determine brand objectives and strategies.
  • Presents and executes creative ideas for brand goals and objectives in B2B channel with key Sales & Marketing stakeholders.
  • Project-manages the organization and execution of all brand-specific print material, literature and advertising for B2B channel.
  • Assists with developing and optimizing marketing campaigns specific to new product launches and promotions for B2B customers.
  • Assists with design and layout creation for promotional print materials and works closely with Graphic Designer to execute brand vision.
  • Researches, presents, coordinates, and manages swag merchandise to support sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Facilitates ordering logistics with Purchasing & Inventory Department for all marketing related materials and swag merchandise to ensure sales support tools are relevant and available.
  • Liaises with media organizations to support strategic ad campaigns.
  • Supports with management of B2B marketing budget.
  • Performs market analysis on competition and reports back on industry trends.
  • Collaborates with key departments to analyze brand performance, track ROI, and adjust tactics as needed to meet objectives.
  • Works with Director of Sales & Marketing to develop overall brand look and feel that fits an omnichannel sales context.
  • May supervise one or more employees as assigned.
  • Excellent organizational skills and habits.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Intermediate-level experience with graphics, design projects and software.
  • Demonstrated comfort and agility with prioritizing a large workload with rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong ability to work with a diverse range of people.
  • Experienced with developing and maintaining business relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to work with integrity, efficiency, and discernment, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Intermediate-level budget-management skills and proficiency.
  • Intermediate-level analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges.
  • Familiarity with the Natural Products Industry.
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communications or Business.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in a similar position with equivalent responsibility.                          .
