DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:CEA is looking for a highly skilled and motivated associate.The successful applicant will become involved in projects covering the interface of business and environment. In particular, work will focus on the evaluation, design and implementation of biodiversity conservation projects domestically and internationally.CEA is a team-oriented organization, and our associates assume considerable responsibility in the day-to-day management of complex projects.The position typically involves extensive direct client contact, which often necessitates national and international travel.The work environment is informal and usually intensive.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:The successful applicant will have the following minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a major university, preferably in a field requiring complex analytical/quantitative methods and skills
- At least two years experience as an analyst/associate with a major business consultancy or investment bank
- Demonstrated history of involvement in analytically complex projects
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent Excel spreadsheet modeling and PowerPoint skills
-Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and multi-task
In addition, applicants should have a strong passion for environmental and social issues.Some experience in travel in developing countries is a plus.
TERM:A commitment of at least 2 years is preferred.
