Description
Inovations Fuel, Inc. (IFI) has an immediate opening for an experienced Biodiesel Plant Manager at its Newark, NJ Facility. This is a 40 mgy biodiesel production plant with truck, rail, and barge access.
The plant is in the final stages of a multimillion dollar renovation and production has started. The plant utilizes a flexible feedstock and batch processing system, incorporates a pre-treatment esterification system, and has a current staff of 15 people.
Position Overview:
The Plant Operations Manager is responsible for all biodiesel production and plant operations, production processes, proper functioning & maintenance of equipment, plant staffing & training, safety & regulatory compliance, BQ9000, and P&L responsibility for biodiesel production, including meeting production targets & quality.
Qualifications:
Minimum BS degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, Masters degree highly preferred.
Minimum 5 years experience as a Plant Manager. Must have hands-on experience working in a production environment utilizing fats and oils. Direct biodiesel production experience highly preferred.
