About BELL and Beyond Grey Pinstripes: As climate change, industrial pollution, natural resource depletion, and other environmental problems undermine the global economy, business leaders face the complex task of balancing profitability with sustainability. The BELL program meets this challenge by working to ensure that promising business leaders of tomorrow have and apply the skills necessary for making companies more competitive by viewing social and environmental challenges as unmet market needs that can provide business growth opportunities through innovation, entrepreneurship and organizational change.

Beyond Grey Pinstripes is a key project in the BELL suite of activities. It is a biennial international survey that benchmarks the most innovative MBA programs infusing environmental and social impact management into the business school curriculum. It serves as a guide for prospective MBA students who want to supplement their traditional MBA skill set with sustainability acumen, and also for companies that seek to recruit from business schools that train their students in environmental and social impact management. Among a pool of 100 leading schools from 20 countries, it rewards high performing schools and inspires competition to bring along the laggards. The goal is to create a shift in business education so that tomorrow's business managers are equipped to make decisions that provide stewardship of the environment and address complex social issues.
