Description

Duties:

  • Work with agencies, counties, cities, villages and local governments to identify issues and develop ecosystem based educational programs that protect and improve local land and water resources.
  • Conduct needs assessments, act as an educational liaison and develop and implement educational activities in area communities.

  • Two basin educator positions available: Upper Fox and Wolf River Basin Educator, Upper Chippewa Basin Educator

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, Masters' degree preferred with at least one degree in a field that relates to the responsibilities of these two positions such as water resources, forestry or natural resource management and several years of related natural resource management experience.

Experience in designing, implementing and evaluating educational programs in areas such as: forestry management, watershed protection, shoreland/riparian and agricultural management practices preferred.
