About the position

Our small but fast-growing family company was founded in 2009 in Switzerland, and the brand was launched in the US market in late 2019. We are looking for a B2B Sales Manager for Adventerra Games North America who will help us build the right B2B business model to turbocharge our sales and growth in the region! You will get a chance to create your own role and make a lasting impact: this is a ground floor opportunity to grow with us.

This position is for a US-based candidate who will work from home. Some travel will be involved to attend several US trade shows and visit important clients as needed, plus occasional overseas travel for trade shows and team meetings. The US team is small and located in different states, so the right candidate will be self-motivated and self-sufficient.

This position will report to the company founder and to the North American Marketing Director for sales results, strategic decisions, and tactical execution.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Global Marketing Committee in strategic planning with research and recommendations for Adventerra Games North America B2B, based on previous B2B model analysis, teammates’ sharing & learning, industry research, meetings, etc.
  • Implement the strategic plan to build a B2B sales pipeline, and meet and exceed B2B sales objectives
  • Identify opportunities to expand distribution, and develop tactical plans to drive growth and sales
  • Train distributors/sales reps/agencies (depending on the model chosen), with support from the Director of Marketing
  • Boost sell-through with existing accounts, with support from the Director of Marketing
  • Attend trade shows and business meetings to network, collect leads and ultimately generate sales
  • Provide ongoing sales data and forecasts to facilitate planning of production and marketing campaigns

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of experience in B2B consumer sales
  • Experience with sustainable lifestyle/eco-friendly/organic products, distributors & retailers, ideally with an established network of contacts
  • Passion for the environment, personal connection and commitment to sustainability, and deep belief in the values and the mission of Adventerra Games
  • Strong sales, interpersonal and commercial skills
  • Commitment and dedication to exceed company goals and to drive business
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated, persistent and able to work without close supervision
  • Ability to take initiative to drive projects quickly and independently
  • Results-focused, hands-on approach and team player mentality
  • Solid project management skills and a focus on key priorities
  • Experience in toy industry is a plus, but not mandatory
