The Delaware Riverkeeper Network, an environmental organization dedicated to protecting and restoring the Delaware River and its four state watershed, seeks a full-time litigator/general counsel.

Job Description:

The position includes all aspects of public interest environmental litigation, from the development and evaluation of potential cases against private and public entities to appellate advocacy. The position also includes advising the Delaware Riverkeeper on legal matters that affect the organization and working with law student interns involved in the organization's law clinic to carry out case load.

Job Qualifications:

We are seeking a self-starter with an excellent litigation track record, environmental law experience preferred, a demonstrated commitment to the environment, and who is admitted, at a minimum, in Pennsylvania or New Jersey, and the federal courts. Start date is flexible, but anticipated in April.

Compensation:

Salary is in the mid-$40,000's, depending on experience.
