The Trust for Public Land (TPL) is a national, nonprofit, land conservation organization that conserves land for people to enjoy as parks, community gardens, historic sites, rural lands, and other natural places, ensuring livable communities for generations to come.
Position Overview:
The Associate Director of Development is primarily responsible for managing the New England Regional Office's institutional giving program. With support from a Development Manager, the Associate Director provides leadership and guides proposal development and grant reporting for the entire New England region.
In collaboration with the Public Affairs Manager, the Associate Director assists in creating all of the development department's materials and publications. The Associate Director also works closely with the Development Team and with New England Regional Office‘s State and Area Directors and Program Directors on strategic visioning, identifying new prospects, creating gift opportunities, and maintaining development databases.
The position is located in Boston, Massachusetts. The Associate Director of Development is part of a nine-member development team that works across the region, and the position reports to the Regional Director of Development.
