Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies that maximize customer engagement and increase the visibility of the company including regular posts, creating and maintaining new campaigns and monitoring all social media activity.
- Ensure all communications including website, public relations and collateral reflect brand identify and support strategic initiatives.
- Execute various media relations activities including story pitching, responding to media inquiries, monitoring, contact list management, etc.
- Manage relationships with external agencies to support online and public relations communications activities.
- Provide writing and editing support for all outbound communication including all promotional materials, website content, newsletter, press releases, etc.
- Provide additional support to the Marketing Manager as needed, in areas such as advertising, special projects, event planning, etc.
- Support the Sales Team with Nutiva brand pitch deck, updating core deck regularly and coordinating custom campaigns as needed.

- Has experience working in dynamic entrepreneurial environment, including working with visionary founder/entrepreneurs.
- Must be passionate about food, nutrition and health.
- A proven track record managing and understanding social media campaigns.
- Communicates (both oral and written) extremely well with the ability to speak to the core consumer of natural/organic products.
- An excellent writer and copy editor.
- Can work under tight deadlines and manage projects independently.
Leadership Skills Required
- Can work with a variety of employees at all levels of the organization.
Technical Skills Required
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Power Point.
- Up-to-date with Social Media tools and technologies.
- HTML skills are preferred.
Education/Training Required
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in marketing, communications, journalism or related field), or its equivalent in experience.
- 3 - 5 years' marketing/PR/communications experience in organic/natural Consumer Packaged Goods.
