Riverbend Nursery is seeking an Area Sales Manager for LiveRoof®, an exciting new environmentally friendly product where succulent plant material is grown in interlocking modules that are used to enhance traditional roof systems. The system not only enhances the aesthetic value of the roof, but reduces storm water runoff, reduces heat reflected off the roof, and prolongs the roof's life.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will continue to develop the market in the Mid-Atlantic region for this innovative product through seminars, cold calls, trade shows, and presentations directly to architects, developers and other contractors. This person must be highly motivated and creative in identifying successful sales strategies to contact and make sales to potential customers.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will have a construction and/or horticulture background, demonstrated customer service skills in business to business sales, proven public speaking and presentation experience, skills in MS Word, Excel, Internet and Email. Must also have the ability to travel 150 days out out the year, and work with minimal supervision.
