Carney Architects, an award-winning, 25-person, architectural firm located in Jackson, Wyoming seeks a Project Manager to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects.
Carney Architects was established in 1992 in Jackson, Wyoming, with a vision of using thoughtful design to enhance the community and to leave a positive legacy of buildings in tune with the region's natural splendor. The work of the office spans a wide variety of project types in Wyoming and the greater west. Residential architecture includes single-family houses, townhouses, and affordable housing. Other projects include community facilities, commercial buildings, resorts, and mixed-use complexes. Using insights gained from practicing in the extreme environment of the Rocky Mountain West, the firm advocates simple, honest building solutions that derive from and respond to their specific sites.
Endorsing sustainable solutions is integral to the practice at Carney Architects. With staff accredited by the US Green Building Council's LEED program, the office aims to set an example within the profession by addressing the gap between aesthetic goals and responsible building.
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess demonstrated leadership qualities, proven management skills and mentoring abilities in order to lead project teams to generate documents for all design phases, coordinate with engineering disciplines, and responsibly maintain project schedules and budgets to promote successful project completion.
Applicants must have a minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience, exceptional technical expertise, be skilled in CAD and Microsoft Office programs, have good verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task. Licensed architect preferred but not required. Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include paid holidays, vacation, and major medical/dental insurance.
