Applications Engineer

aleo solar North America Inc. is the US subsidiary of aleo solar AG, one of the leading German companies in the photovoltaic industry, specialized in the manufacturing of solar modules. In addition, aleo offers complete solutions for photovoltaic installations. For our US subsidiary, located in the Denver Colorado area, we are looking for a qualified individual to fill the position of Applications Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Technical design and layout of photovoltaic systems
• Preparation of economic efficiency calculations
• Preparation of offers and proposals
• Order management and technical customer service
• Electrical engineering including graphical charts for large plants
• After-sales support

Qualifications:

• Knowledge in the field of photovoltaics (low and medium voltage)
• Experience in data communication is an advantage
• Experience with PVSyst or PVSol for simulation of photovoltaic plant is an advantage
• Good English speaking and writing skills required, knowledge of German language is beneficial but not necessary
• Experience in working with MS Office and Auto-CAD
• Communication skills and flexibility
• Readiness to travel
