Analysts

Background:

Northbridge has immediate openings for Analysts in its Washington, DC and Westford, Massachusetts (Greater Boston-area) offices. Northbridge provides management consulting services on environmental issues, especially in the areas of financial and economic analysis, information management, training, and program management support. The firm’s clients include the US Environmental Protection Agency, state and local governments, industry trade associations, and corporations. 

Responsibilities: 

Analysts assist senior staff on a wide range of projects including collecting and analyzing data on environmental finance; developing computer models and information systems to track financial and project data; providing implementation support for state and local environmental programs; performing telephone, internet, and survey research for economic and financial analysis; and developing training and outreach programs and materials. As part of a small firm, Analysts have a unique opportunity to work closely with clients and with Northbridge's senior staff who hold advanced degrees in public policy, finance, and engineering. 

Qualifications: 

Successful candidates are self-starters with strong quantitative and communication skills; demonstrated experience with Access and Excel; and programming experience with Visual Basic or similar languages. A basic understanding of environmental protection programs would be a plus. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Northbridge will consider applicants with prior work experience as well as undergraduates in the class of 2003.
