Northbridge offers management consulting services to the federal government, state agencies, state and national trade associations, and corporations.  We use our business skills in tandem with our comprehensive knowledge of environmental programs to assist client organizations. Northbridge assists government agencies at the federal, state, and local level to develop, analyze, and implement programs.

Position Overview

The open Analyst position emphasizes support for environmental infrastructure programs including EPA's State Revolving Loan (SRF) Fund program.  Northbridge serves as the EPA prime contractor for this $180 billion environmental clean water funding program. Analysts participate in all aspects of Northbridge support for SRF and other related programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Candidates must have the ability to structure and analyze issues clearly and efficiently, conduct independent research, develop professionally written analyses and reports, and show the ability to effectively work as part of a team. 
  • Project work will support EPA programs and may include research and assessment, federal/state policy and program procedures option development, assessing program alternatives to support federal and/or state environmental programs, developing and conducing training and outreach programs.
  • Northbridge Analysts work closely with clients and with Northbridge's senior staff. 
  • Analysts often assist on cutting edge environmental program initiatives addressing innovative environmental infrastructure, energy efficient technology implementation, sustainable infrastructure, and green project development.

Qualifications:

  • Successful candidates are self-starters with strong quantitative and communication skills and experience with environmental policy issues, preferably through prior consulting experience.
  • An understanding of environmental protection programs is required.
  • An MPP, MBA or similar degree is preferred, but BA/BS with successful consulting experience and/or evidence of strong academic performance may suffice.
