Sustainable San Mateo County (SSMC) is dedicated to the long-term health of our county's economy, environment and social equity by educating about sustainability.
Position Summary:
Very busy one-person office to handle all administrative details for established nonprofit. Work directly with the Board Chair who acts as the interim Executive Director. Office located in San Mateo.
Job includes support for active volunteer committees, minutes for monthly Board of Directors meetings, bookkeeping, phone/email coverage, processing donations/thank you letters, maintenance of files, and ongoing database management. Support for major fund raising annual event. Seeking someone highly organized and efficient, with strong interpersonal skills and self-initiative.
Requirements:
Knowledge of Quicken, experience in database management, and familiarity with San Mateo County are helpful.
Compensation:
Full time - $30,000 plus/yr.
