Description
Social Accountability International (SAI) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 1997 to promote human rights in the workplace. SAI is dedicated to improving workplaces and communities by developing and implementing socially responsible standards. In 1997, SAI issued the Social Accountability 8000 Standard, which is based on the principles of ILO Conventions, the universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, together with compliance with national labor laws and a human resources management system.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and clerical support for the executive office including:
- Schedule and Synchronize Calendar for all appointments, meetings, and international travel for the President;
- Prepare meeting and travel plans and logistics for President;
- Prepare expense reports, record-keeping for President;
- Assisting the Executive Assistant as needed.
Training for Auditor and Professional Development Courses:
- Generate and distribute course completion certificates
- Provide pre- and post-course customer service
- Coordinate with SAI accounting department on registration and payments
Qualifications:
2 years+ experience in office administration, office clerical duties, experienced with international correspondence & travel logistics, excellent computer skills.
This position is temporary, 3-4 days per week, lasting between 3-5 months. Reports to Executive Assistant.
