Account Representative

Position Overview

ChromaDex has an immediate full-time opening for an Account Representative to interact with customers throughout the order process which involves accurately entering orders, providing technical support, being detail oriented and maintaining accounts to ensure customer satisfaction. This position will work closely with sales, customer service, logistics and laboratory personnel.

Responsibilities  

Main duties include:

• Provide ongoing customer and technical support for products and services
• Assist in preparing quotations, provide pricing and availability of products and services
• Enter orders, process and invoice contract services
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with logistics and lab during all steps of the ordering process from inception to completion
• Develop and maintain existing accounts by identifying customer's needs and recommending relevant solutions 

Qualifications  

Required Competencies: 

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Detail oriented and able to accurately enter data
• Communicate clearly at all levels of the organization and with customers
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team, solve problems across functional areas, multi-task, and learn and understand technical aspects of products lines.

Desired Skills/Knowledge: 

• Industry knowledge a plus
• Knowledge of Great Plains Dynamics and CRM software

Training, Education and Experience: 

• BA/BS in any science related field OR
• 2 or more years of industry work experience as sales support or customer service 

Working Conditions 

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, grasping objects, occasionally exerting force to pull, push and carry up to 20 lbs. and occasionally lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Indoor office environment.
