Positon Overview

The Account Management team is responsible for managing the relationships within client accounts, generating growth opportunities within those accounts, managing the financial aspects and ensuring that the clients are championed in the business.

Your main objective will be to secure long term client relationships and grow the revenue by selling in additional system modules, solutions and services.  

Responsibilities, Key Tasks & Deliverables

Client Relationships (30%)

  • Contact and engage with your client on a regular basis as agreed in your Client Account plan
  • Conduct half yearly review meetings with your client
  • Write up clear notes on any meetings, opportunities or events and email to sales@credit360.com
  • Develop, maintain and keep up to date individual Client Account Plans (CAPs)
  • Ensure that your clients receive the correct support levels from the business
  • Competently respond to any incoming queries from the client, whether they be via email, telephone or formal written requests
  • Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of your clients across all solution areas
  • Conduct debrief meetings with clients after the initial roll-out and/or significant system enhancements 

Upselling (50%) 

  • Generate leads through your client relationships
  • Identify key stakeholders in your client business for all our solution areas to enable you to present the solution to them.
  • Target on-selling additional modules and solution areas to your client business and its Group.
  • Quickly pick-up leads that relate to your clients from any in-bound enquiries
  • Review user bundle levels
  • Review support levels on either a monthly or quarterly basis (depending on client)
  • Obtain additional revenue for project overruns and out of scope work
  • Attend, network and present at industry events and exhibitions as required
  • Set-up, maintain and navigate the AM demo system
  • Present an overview of the company and provide a detailed system demonstration to the established standard (online and in person).
  • Competently respond to questions on the commercial nature of the business and the functional aspects of the system (deeper technical understanding is not essential)
  • Track all ‘Opportunities' created through the activity above in our Sugar CRM with regular internal reporting
  • Co-ordinate a response to any Request for Information/Proposals/Quotation (RFI/RFP/RFQ) using the predefined template
  • Liaise with the implementation team to obtain accurate quotes
  • Develop Opportunities generated through proposals and RFI/RFP/RFQ responses, maintain contact with the companies and close business
  • Co-ordinate contract or variance agreement negotiations as required 

Financial Responsibility (10%)

  • Add new client contracts to OWL ensuring they are correctly setup
  • Preparing contract renewals, and add them to OWL.
  • Promptly, and at the earliest opportunity, update the invoice statuses (QFC, WIP, RTI and Invoice) 
  • Ensure that Purchase Order or Client Authorisation (that can be billed against) is received prior to work commencing

Secondary Responsibilities (10%)

Selling new systems to new clients is an important revenue stream. Account Managers are expected to assist the BD team by:

  • Providing client biogs
  • Obtaining reference and marketing permissions
  • Supporting a sales process which may include writing part of a proposal or attending a sales meeting
  • Undertake a programme of continuous development from initial on-boarding through to a full and comprehensive knowledge of the system modules, behaviours and skills

Qualifications

Person Specification 

  • Proven ability to use own initiative in both solo and team working environments
  • Strong customer service ethic
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Reliable and conscientious - a proven completer finisher
  • International customer support experience, and the ability to accommodate international travel
  • Consistently good levels of quality and accuracy
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise own workload effectively and to achieve stretching
    deadlines
  • Ability to build enduring customer relationships
  • Highly motivated with a drive to succeed and achieve stretching targets
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • At least 3 years experience in sales or sales administration within a B2B environment or specific software industry
  • Advanced level in Word, Excel, and other office packages
