Position Overview
PS&S is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist.

Qualifications
- 7 to 10 years of experience within the environmental industry
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning, environmental science, or an equivalent field
- Working knowledge of Federal and New Jersey environmental compliance regulations that include, but are not limited to the following:
- Clean Air Act/ NJDEP Air Permitting Regulations – GPs, PCPs and Title V
- Proficient with the use of NJDEP Radius
- Clean Water Act/New Jersey Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (Wastewater and Industrial Stormwater Permitting)
- Underground Storage Tank Regulations (Compliance Inspections)
- Oil Pollution Prevention Regulations/SPCC Planning
- Safe Drinking Water Regulations
- RCRA/ NJDEP Solid and Hazardous Waste Regulations
- Familiar with New Jersey compliance regulations and the performance of multi-media regulatory compliance inspections of industrial, commercial and public facilities
- Familiarity with the NJDEP Technical Requirements for Site Remediation, specifically, Preliminary Assessments
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently as well as with a diverse group of people, including non-technical staff
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, including Excel and Access
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred:
- 40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training
