Position Overview
Phoenix-based Salt River Project (SRP), the nation's third largest public power and water utility is recruiting for an Energy Efficiency Program Evaluation Analyst in our Measurement & Evaluation group. The primary purpose of the Measurement & Evaluation group is to monitor, support, and evaluate the program design and implementation of a multi-million dollar suite of SRP energy efficiency and demand response programs. SRP is committed to current and long term sustainability goals, including maintaining a broad portfolio of energy efficiency program offerings and sustainable supply-side resources.
Responsibilities
he Energy Efficiency Program Evaluation Analyst’s primary function will be to provide project management and analytic support for the evaluation, measurement, and verification (EM&V) activities that support SRP’s portfolio of energy efficiency and demand response programs. This includes:
- Coordination and collaboration with contracted consultants, program designers, implementers, and marketers.
- Scheduling and tracking of evaluation project activities, milestones and deliverables.
- Monitoring requests, transfer, and delivery of data and information.
- Communication and distribution of project updates.
- Critical support for research and evaluation activities, including designing research and analysis to evaluate the program process and energy impact of EE/DR programs.
- Providing analytical support and recommendations for program improvements.
- Proactively seeking opportunities for process improvement.
- Identification and execution of opportunities to leverage large data sets for advanced analytics.
- Development and review of technical reports.
- Ad hoc research and analytics.
Qualifications
Education:
- Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.
Preferences:
- Experience in project planning, project management, statistical analysis, process analysis, financial analysis is strongly preferred.
- Electric utility industry experience is highly beneficial. Energy efficiency program EM&V, program development, or implementation experience desired.
- Prefer three or more years of experience in the field of DSM program evaluation, development, management, or implementation, energy management, demand response, market research, or other applied energy-related experience in a related area.
- Statistical software proficiency, PMP Certification, CEM Certification desired.
Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, Economics, Mathematics or related fields desired.
- Strong organization and communication skills are essential.
- All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Currently, SRP does not sponsor H1B visas.
