Solar Quality Control Coordinator

Position Overview

If you have Solar Installation Experience and are tired of being on roofs in the hot California sun all day, and tired of sitting in traffic driving from one job site to another, this could be the job for you!! We are seeking a bright and experienced Quality Control Coordinator to join our team. The ideal person for this position will have 2+ years of Solar Installation/Solar QC Experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for reviewing Installation photos to determine whether a job was installed properly
• Communicate Quality Control failures with contractors, create work orders and dispatch contractors to make repairs/complete required work- follow up with contractors until QC issues have been resolved
• Communicate Quality Control results to Accounting for release of Sub Contractor Payment
• Review all Solar Provider Initiated Quality Assurance failures
• Dispatch sub-contractors and in-house technicians to resolve QA's
• Update Solar Provider portals with results
• Review Main Panel Upgrade photos to ensure electrical modifications were completed to company standards
• Must record and document each project status in Salesforce by uploading photos and updating notes

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of solar installation experience
• Foreman or lead field installer are encouraged to apply.
• High School diploma is required, college degree is preferred

• Knowledge of Solar fundamentals and terminology

• Main Panel Upgrade/Derate Experience
• Must be able to multitask

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Works well in a team
• Works well independently

Compensation: $18/hr per hour
