Position Overview
Tetra Tech Inc. has an immediate opening for a Stream Restoration/Water Resources Seller/Doer to join our established and expanding restoration team. The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 13 years professional experience working on client networking activities, developing leads, identifying contracting opportunities, managing client relationships, writing proposals, negotiating contracts, and managing projects related to water resources and/or aquatic restoration projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and/or Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries, Hydrology, or Earth Sciences
- Minimum of 13 years professional experience with water resources and/or aquatic restoration projects, specifically related to selling and managing work
- Ability to prepare business plans and strategies, develop cost estimates, and grants and proposals
- Strong technical writing skills and experience writing various types of resource agency reports
- Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple projects
- Working knowledge of aquatic ecosystems as they relate to the principals pertaining to effective design techniques
- Water infrastructure project planning, development, and management desired
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks
- Extremely responsible, equally suited to working independently or in a team environment
- Able or willing to travel for assignments
- Strong desire and aptitude for client management and business development
- Developed relationships with clients involved in aquatic restoration, water resources, or equivalent
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience with water resources and aquatic restoration projects related to stream, wetland, lakes, and storm water management
- Experience with client planning, management, and business development
- Experience with water storage and infrastructure related projects
