ReVision Energy is growing and we are looking for a talented and experienced Thermal Technician to join our Brentwood NH location.
Position Overview
The Thermal, Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) and HVAC Technician will be part of an installation team responsible for the highest quality installation, repairs and maintenance of solar thermal and air source heat pump systems for our customers. This position includes, but is not limited to, being part of a thermal installation team in both residential and commercial settings, installation and commissioning of code-compliant systems using company and industry best practices. Onsite training and continuous education will be provided.
Responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- ASHP and occasional Solar Hot Water installation including, staging, racking, wiring, and commissioning
- Maintain a respectful, professional and responsive relationship with customers and co-workers at all times
- Follow all OSHA requirements to ensure overall crew and job site safety
- Work directly with project plumbers and electricians during installations
- Remain up to date on installation techniques, hardware options, and industry best practices through CE, industry
Qualifications
Critical Skills/Expectations:
- Understands basic refrigeration cycle to include: identifying components in refrigeration circuit, understanding how each component works, diagnosing problems in the refrigeration circuit, understands refrigeration recovery, evacuation and charging
- Professional plumbing / HVAC experience is a plus but not a must
- Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to work well with other technicians and tradesman
Required Licenses or Additional Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude; competence in general construction practices and designs including a strong understanding of building construction
- Comfortably able to climb ladders and work on high roof tops in varying hot and cold temperatures
- Effectively coordinate and communicate with others (customers and coworkers)
- Teamwork – reaches out to peers and cooperates with supervisors to establish collaborative working relationships
