Position Overview
The visiting assistant professor (VAP) will be responsible for teaching 3-4 courses/semester for the 2018-19 academic year.
Qualifications
- The candidate should have broad knowledge of biology; being able to teach biodiversity and marine biology, experience with teaching university courses, and an ability to work collegially.
- MS in biology with significant teaching experience at the college level.
- Excellent communication skills, and superior skills at teaching students.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. but ABD is acceptable.
