Position Overview

Weston Solutions, Inc is now accepting applications for a full time entry-level field scientist position in our Carlsbad, Ca office.

Responsibilities

• Collecting water and sediment samples in dry and wet weather; installation of monitoring equipment and sensors.
• Recording of field observations.
• Preparation of equipment and supplies for monitoring.
• Data entry.
• Tremendous potential for growth for the right individual.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with focus on environmental science.
• Course work or experience with stormwater, water resources, and/or environmental chemistry.
• Ability to work well in teams.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather and challenging conditions.
• Positive attitude, ability to take direction and willingness to learn from senior staff members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Environmental monitoring field experience.
