Position Overview
Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC is currently seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Environmental Technician who is looking for new learning experiences, opportunities for career growth, and a desire to contribute to our clients’ success. This position will be working out of our Green Bay, WI location.
Responsibilities
- Perform field activities, under the supervision of a Professional Engineer, in support of environmental investigations, remediation system operations, and/or landfill facilities involving water, wastewater and landfill gas
- Conduct and report on environmental compliance investigations
- Maintain and repair landfill gas and leachate systems; conduct landfill gas system monitoring
- Provide construction quality assurance on environmental projects
- Conduct groundwater and other environmental sampling for landfill and remediation sites
- Provide observation for soil boring and well installation
- Assist with data management and prepare related sampling reports
- Perform field activities in a safe manner
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Environmental or Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience in a related field
- 1+ years of experience with mechanical system troubleshooting, maintenance and repair
- Abilitiy to lift 50 lbs. and work in adverse weather conditions
- Possess a valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
- HAZWOPER certification
- Previous experience with the following:
- Field sampling, including sampling equipment, processes, and maintenance
- Working independently with limited supervision
- Managing databases
- Working with pumps, motors, and electrical systems
