Position Overview
Partner Energy is looking for a Sustainability Coordinator to work as a technical resource as part of an energy consulting team assisting in all aspects of project work related to energy audits, energy analyses, energy modeling projects and Green Building Certifications and verification process.
Responsibilities
- Assist the team with all aspects of energy audits, energy modeling, and project implementation
- Analyze and input utility bill information for energy analysis
- Assist in technical requirements to support green building projects
- Assist in data collection, field visits, and report writing
- Perform benchmarking analyses
- Manage your own project deadlines
- Work with associates, sales staff, energy engineers, and sub-contractors to conduct energy audits, energy modeling, and project implementation
- Maintain target utilization rate
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and company mission, vision and values
- Timely response to client e-mail and phone messages
- Work effectively with the team
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science or related field
Preferred:
- Familiarity with CALGreen and Title 24 energy code
- LEED, GPR, or other Green Credential
- Experience with energy modeling
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
- Excellent math and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat & Reader
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated interest in the building science, energy efficiency and/or sustainability fields.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge in technical subject matter such as general knowledge of building systems, including HVAC systems, building envelope, and lighting systems
Physical Requirements:
- Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
- Travel 25%
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs
- Ability to work outdoors and in unconditioned rooms on occasion
