Position Overview

Arbox Renewable Energy is currently seeking a PHP Developer.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development cycle of the platform and features to meet business objectives
• Involvement in all steps of development including: requirements analysis, prototyping, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, debugging and roll-out
• Develop reliable, clean, and maintainable code for application at scale while collaborating with the team
• Define and implement back-end/front-end development workflow, best practices and quality assurance procedures
• Improving existing application and database. Releasing new iterations
• Perform research and analysis to recommend the optimal architecture and design decisions
• Collaborate with management to translate concepts and designs to high quality web applications

Qualifications

• Recent graduate under 30
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident to be eligible for government funds & grants
• Back-end Experience in PHP MVC - Laravel or equivalent
• Laravel experience a BIG PLUS
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, AJAX, jQuery, PHP, XML, JSON, REST, API
• Familiarity with Git, GitLab, MySQLworkBench
• Demonstrated knowledge of databases MySQL
• Experience with MVC Frameworks such as Laravel and related libraries frameworks a must
• Self-motivated, Independent problem solver and quick learner, passionate about coding
• Able to prioritize, multi-task, work under deadlines and take a leading role in product development

Compensation: $40,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
