Position Overview
- Intermountain Wind and Solar has multiple full-time positions available for Solar Installers.
- We are looking for dependable, hard working individuals that are excited about renewable energy and want to be a part of this growing industry.
- Solar Installers will work on residential and commercial roofs to install solar panels using various mounting systems. Installers are expected to follow crew leaders instructions to correctly install solar equipment.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be able to lift over 50 pounds, climb ladders, work on flat and sloped roofs.
- Must be able to learn and effectively use fall protection devices.
- Must be able to use hand and power tools.
- Work well with others in a team atmosphere, have a strong work ethic and have pride in workmanship.
Compensation: You won't want to pass up our quarterly incentive bonuses in addition to competitive compensation. Installer starting range is $13.00- $15.00 per hour based on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefit package with 401K after 30 days, vacation, paid holidays and 75% company paid Medical, Dental and Vision for Individual and family coverage, benefit start after 2 full months of employment. We also offer supplemental benefits through AFLAC, accident, disability, hospital indemnity and critical care.
