Position Overview

Eligible candidates will have an acute attention to detail, a drive for working safely, and an insatiable desire for delivering the perfect product. Responsibilities
- Layout Solar Racking according to permitted plans
- Secure Solar Racking to roof and ensure that all penetrations are sealed to prevent leaking
- Safely affix solar modules to racking
- Follow directions from Roof Lead and Crew Foreman
- Load vehicles with tools and required materials for each job daily
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Follow safety standards set forth by Go Solar Group
- Other duties as needed to meet business needs
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Basic understanding of electrical/roofing construction
- Attention to detail
- Customer Service skills. Our installers are the face of our company and in most instances, spend the most face time with the customers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with power tools
- Basic math (working with measurements)
- Safely operate a motor vehicle
Physical Requirements:
- Work at heights and on steep roofs
- Lift 50 lbs frequently, lift 70+ lbs occasionally
- Work outdoors in wide range of temperatures and weather conditions
- Stand for 6-10 hours per day
- Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching
- **All new hires may be subject to a criminal background check, driver’s history record, and a drug screen
Preferred Experience:
- 1-2 years’ experience in electrical or roofing construction
Compensation
- 40 hours PTO after 90 days, 80 hours after 1 year, and 120 after 5 years
