Position Overview

In order to reinforce their technical team and to increase their activities, my client is looking for an expert specializing in the energy/electrical engineering sector and in particular renewable energies.

Responsibilities

• Within the Department under the responsibility of the head of Energy and Infrastructure department the right candidate will act as an expert and technical project manager to be responsible and will be responsible for the preparation and execution of technical assistance missions, in close collaboration with other team member well as with my client's national and international partners.
• The successful candidate will therefore contribute to the development of the company's activities in the field of renewable energies and other branches of energy.
• The engineer who will join my client, will also participate in short term assignments in France and abroad as an expert or project coordinator.

Qualifications

• University degree (or equivalent) of a Thermal Engineer or Mechanic and, more generally, an Energy Engineer. Experience in economics, finance and / or the environment would be appreciated as well as knowledge of other sources of energy.
• At least 7 years of professional experience in the field of renewable energies.
• Previous experience working on projects funded by the European Union, the World Bank and other French and international contractors would be appreciated.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills preferably in English and French.
• Knowledge of Spanish would be a plus.
• Permanent position based in South West of France with short term assignments abroad.

Compensation 

• 45,000 - 60,000 (Euro) Per Annum
