Background:
This position requires a strong background in accounting and tax. Zilkha Renewable Energy is a private company focused to the wind generated electricity business. The company is active throughout the US in greenfield windfarm development. The position currently requires the supervision of one staff accountant and reports to the President.
Duties:
Description of Duties and Functions:
- Manage all accounting and treasury functions of the parent and subsidiary limited liability companies.
- Prepare financial statements for all companies.
- Federal and state tax reporting and compliance for multiple LLCs.
- Report monthly cash flow and variance analysis for parent and subs.
- Cash flow and capital budget responsibility and reporting.
- Manage all general liability, operations, and construction insurance programs and renewals.
- Supervise payroll, health insurance, and 401k programs.
- Monitor and coordinate period debt funding and owners debt and equity positions.
- Prepare tax projections for owners' wind business participation.
- Manage annual audit of consolidated parent financial statements.
- Responsibility for all general and administrative expenses.
