New England Solar Provider Grows Through Acquisition

SolarWrights, Inc., a New England provider of photovoltaic, solar thermal and wind
systems, announced today the acquisition of Sunsearch, LLC, a solar energy company based in Guilford,
Connecticut.

Sunsearch has been designing, installing and servicing solar systems since 1975 throughout
Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Sunsearch founder, Everett Barber, has been named Chief Solar Thermal Engineer for Solarwrights.

This acquisition will allow SolarWrights to expand its
geographic location into the southwest corner of Connecticut and further strengthen its solar thermal division, the company said.

“This acquisition represents an exciting growth opportunity for SolarWrights,” according to Mark Nelson, Vice
President of Business Development. ”SolarWrights is rapidly expanding through both acquisitions and organic
growth.”

In January 2008, SolarWrights acquired Kosmo Solar, a Springfield, MA solar energy company.

The latest acquisition brings the number of SolarWrights offices to nine throughout the Northeast with approximately
70 employees. SolarWrights’ rapid growth has earned it such awards as “Fastest Growing Private Business in
Rhode Island” of 2006 (Providence Business News), “Business Excellence Award for Entrepreneurship” in
2007 (Providence Business News), as well as one of the 2007 and 2008 "Best Places to Work in Rhode Island"
(Providence Business News ).
