A new website called EarthFolio says its the first site offering fully managed portfolios composed of socially responsible mutual funds.
Created by Blue Marble Investments, EarthFolio touts its simplicity and convenience for individuals who want to invest responsibly, but don’t have the time or guidance for proper research.
In addition to financial screens, EarthFolio said it applies teh following 12 environmental and social screens to the mutual funds it purchases: environment, human rights, animal testing, employment equality, labor relations, weapons, tobacco, alcohol, gambling, products and services, corporate governance, and community investment.
