World Bank Offers Brazil $1.2 Billion for Conservation

WASHINGTON, DC, August 25, 2004 (ENS) – The World Bank has decided to extend loans totaling US$1.2 billion to Brazil over four years to support the South American country's goal of balancing economic growth with social development and the improvement of environmental quality.
