Enfinity & SunPower Sign Deal

Enfinity, which provides turn-key engineering, procurement and construction services for solar photovoltaic (PV) power plants, has entered into an Agreement with SunPower Corp. for projects totaling over 25 megawatts (MW).

The project will be built during 2008-2009 by SunPower in Italy - they are contingent on Enfinity securing financing and construction permits for the projects.

The companies are looking at other ways to collaborate including solar projects in Spain, Greece and other countries.

Enfinity is working on financing for 122 MW of solar PV and  has plans for several hundred megawatts through 2010.
