This breakthrough technology is establishing a new benchmark for environmental friendliness, making it ideally suited for customer-sited applications and utility sized applications.
Position Overview:
Fluidic Energy, an Arizona-based company developing proprietary battery technology, is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to join our rapidly growing team as we bring a game-changing product to market.
Responsibilities:
This position entails working alongside world-class scientists and engineers to run systems and modules through a variety of tests in varying conditions. The position involves all aspects of battery testing including designing, building, performing and analyzing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering with 3+ years of testing experience in battery, fuel cells and corrosion related areas.
- Experience in testing individual batteries or fuel cells, battery packs and multi-kW/kWh systems and evaluating cell to cell variations, cell-cell balance in a battery/fuel cell pack.
- Ability to develop and perform qualification tests for product validation.
- Basic knowledge of electronics, control algorithms and software programming.
- Understanding of battery and other electrochemical energy conversion/storage technologies and their safety requirements.
- Strong educational background and/or experience in one or more of the following areas: electrochemistry, charge and discharge processes related to batteries, reaction and degradation mechanisms related to batteries, fuel cells, corrosion, electrodeposition or photovoltaics.
Compensation: Pay Rate: $50,000 - $60,000
