Description
World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the global conservation organization, seeks a person to work collaboratively with WWF-US and WWF network staff to develop and support freshwater conservation partnerships with private sector actors, including manufacturers, water service providers, agricultural interests, natural resource companies, energy companies, and financial institutions.
Responsibilities:
In addition, the incumbent will support the WWF/The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) partnership for river basin field programs in developing and implementing work plans, budgets, monitoring, and reporting; support efforts to develop river basin elements of potential future WWF/TCCC collaboration; and promote integration of all parts of the Coca-Cola system (headquarters, business units, regional offices, bottling network, etc.) into partnership planning and action, including implementation of current projects and planning and fundraising for future projects.
Qualifications:
A graduate degree in a related field such as natural resources management, environmental science, ecology, law, business, or conservation policy or equivalent experience is required. 5 years experience in any or some combination of the following: water resources management (corporate or government), natural resources policy development and advocacy, business, as well as an understanding of international freshwater conservation issues is also necessary.
