Senior Consultant, Hands-On

Position Overview: 

G&B Solutions, Inc. has an opportunity for a Senior Consultant in Rockville, MD. Telecommuting 1 day a week may be an option. This project is expected to go until July 2010.

This person will serve as a senior hands-on technical resource for the project.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on coding in one or more of the following languages: JAVA, XML, html, scripting languages.
• Creating of project documentation
• Business analysis
• Project management tasks
• Researching COTS products and presenting results and guidance on software selection
• Reporting to management
• Preparing status reports
• Preparing and delivering presentations and findings
• Implementation support and planning

Qualifications: 

• Federal Government, specifically HHS or FDA experience, is preferred
• The ideal candidate will work well on a team and will be able to function independently
• This person will be seen as a subject matter expert by the client and will often need to provide input, guidance, and leadership to the client.

Required:

• Experience with Informatica DT (version 8.6), including B2B Data Exchange, DT/Studio, CDE, and UDO
• Coding experience with java, xml, html, scripting languages; Self-starter, works independently with little guidance; Strong overall technical knowledge; Business analysis experience.

Desired:

Project Management skills, Power Center experience, ETL experience, experience with data mapping and transformation, experience with Sun User authentication, eSignature, enterprise search, workflow (Appian preferred).
