Description
Wild Fish Conservancy is a non-profit conservation-ecology organization dedicated to the preservation and recovery of the Northwest's native fish and the ecosystems they depend on. Wild Fish Conservancy seeks to improve conditions for all of the Northwest's wild fish by conducting important research on wild-fish populations and habitats, advocating for better land-use, salmon-harvest, and hatchery management, and developing model habitat-restoration projects. Since its founding in 1989, Wild Fish Conservancy has built a reputation for effectiveness, expertise, credibility, and a focus on the needs of the resource.
Responsibilities:
- Communications (telephones, email, ftp, postal mail) for in-house and remote staff.
- Secretarial support to Executive including reception, dictation, and email management.
- Database and lists management for constituents, supplies, inventory, and grant tracking.
- Project assistance with data entry, proofreading, large mailings, fundraising, and donations.
- Staff support with emails, filing, printouts, and contact information.
- Business administration including licenses, insurance, human resources, and contracts.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- BS or BA required
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
- High aptitude for technology including software and cell phones.
- Self motivated, good problem solving and analytical skills
Compensation: $25-30K plus medical, paid vacation and retirement
