Greentrack Strategies and its extended team of practitioners, Greentrack Group, takes a multi-disciplinary approach to strategic environmental management, sustainable business practices, and corporate social responsibility.
As a consultancy, Greentrack has worked with both public sector and private sector clients in the US and worldwide; and, as an independent think tank, greentrack and its principals are recognized as thought leaders in advancing environmental management and regulatory innovation.
We have established an intern program to assist with a variety of activities, including:
* Developing website content and e-newsletter
* Assisting principals with directed and supervised substantive research and writing
* Areparing training materials, presentations and deliverables
* Conducting target market research and business development proposals
These unpaid internships are intended to expose participants, with or without significant prior environmental consulting or policy experience, to leading edge developments in the environmental and sustainability fields and to gain an appreciation for the complexity of the environmental, economic, and social factors affecting public and private organizations. (Students may structure these supervised internships for academic credit with the approval of applicant's academic institution.)
Successful applicants will work from home and need not be based in the Washington, DC area, but must:
* Be able to devote at least 8 hours per week
* Have access to library and on-line research materials
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Have a strong desire to understand and promote strategic environmental management, sustainable business practices, and corporate social responsibility
