We are seeking a motivated and self-directed individual to join our Finance team in the role of Cost Accountant, reporting to the Controller.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for continuously developing and improving innovative methods for tracking, monitoring, analyzing and reporting raw materials, work-in-process and finished goods, as well as product gross margins and project analysis.
Other responsibilities include preparation, maintenance and analysis of manufacturing cost reports, unit cost reports and inventory flow analysis.
This position has a strong interface with internal clients in manufacturing and business operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1) B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years relevant experience.
2) Cost accounting experience with raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods required.
3) Familiarity with automated accounting systems is required and experience with Macola or similar accounting software is a plus.
Individual must thrive in a fast paced environment and have the ability to manage multiple-tasks and priorities simultaneously.
