Position Overview:
EVI seeks a full-time business development specialist for 6-year old integrated sustainability and climate change mitigation advisory firm entering the US market.
Responsibilities:
Core job responsibility is to help accelerate the pipeline of contracted work and build our client base. Job has a 6-month probationary period during which we'll offer a stipend and commission. Assuming sales targets are met, the successful candidate will move to full-time salary with pre-agreed commercial terms. The position will report to Head of Business Development (Global) & Vice President of Advisory Services, US (local).
Qualifications:
- Preferably based in San Francisco (no relocation assistance available)
- MBA or MS in other business related discipline
- At least 5 years total work experience, preferably in inside sales, product management or corporate development
- Passion for sustainability and corporate social responsibility
- Superlative written and verbal communication skills
- Highly professional work ethic
- Results oriented
- Self motivated
- Entrepreneurial
- US work authorization
- Able to travel as needed
