Your Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in sustainability audits consisting of:
- Energy Use
- Water Use
- Waste Production
- Employee Comfort
- General Business Operations
- Updating and managing of a sustainability report that covers:
- Baseline energy, water, and waste use
- Plan toward earning a sustainability certification
- Make product recommendations to improve sustainability
- Manage promotional activities
- Managing and procuring vendors for sustainability related products including, but not limited to:
- LEDs
- Solar
- Water Efficiency
- HVAC Efficiency
- Consults with franchisee to ascertain and define need or area of opportunity and determine scope of investigation required to obtain solution.
Qualifications
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in sustainability, engineering, or another related science
- OR 1-3 years’ related experience and/or training within the Solar Energy industry
- OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have the ability to read, understand, and interpret a P&L statement
- Experience with Energy Star Portfolio Manager online tool
- LEED experience or certification preferred
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office products
- Schedule flexibility and willingness to travel as needed (eligible driver’s license and valid automobile insurance required)
