Senior Finance and Operations Manager

Founded by nonprofit environmental advocacy organizations, Green Century Capital Management (GCCM) administers two no-load environmentally responsible mutual funds. The Green Century Funds are designed to achieve competitive returns while putting investors' money to work for cleaner air, cleaner water, and greater corporate environmental responsibility. Green Century also advocates that companies improve their environmental performance, using our collective leverage as shareholders to demand that corporations be accountable for their actions.

Green Century Capital Management is hiring a Senior Finance and Operations Manager to work closely with and assist the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer on all financial, operations, and administrative functions for the Green Century Funds. The position is critical to the continued growth and success of the Funds.

Job Description:

The GCCM Senior Finance and Operations Manager would work closely with other senior staff, primarily the Senior Vice President for Finance and Operations, to ensure the efficient operation of the Funds. Functions include aspects of mutual fund administration and compliance, business planning, financial management and financial analysis. Duties will vary but may include monitoring of the Funds' service providers, development of policies and procedures documents, analyses of the Funds' past and prospective growth opportunities, and preparation for the Funds' quarterly board meetings.

Qualifications:

Candidates for this position should have at minimum five years of relevant professional experience, post college. Relevant experience includes (but is not limited to) working in socially responsible business, mutual fund or other investment, political, legal, or government settings. Solid financial, communication, and computer skills are necessary. Advanced degrees in related fields may count toward a candidate's professional experience. MBA or MPA preferred.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary for this position ranges from $28,000 to $45,000 and up, depending on the quality of the applicant and past work experience.
