Position Overview

Sales Consultant

SolReliable is looking for a highly motivated energy efficient home improvement sales consultant. You will be responsible for spending time with customers in their homes to discuss energy efficient solutions.

You will be provided with leads that have been set for an appointment, although you will also be required to generate your own leads. The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, driven, and enthusiastic with excellent communications skills, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and unwavering confidence.

Note: Our consultants have unlimited earning potential with pay that’s structured on a high commission basis. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting with customers, identifying their needs, presenting a professional proposal and pricing, overcoming objections, and closing the sale.

  • Accountable for calculating the total sale, preparing the sales contract, documenting specifications of the project, and collecting the deposit per company pricing schedule.

  • Develop and maintain continued communication with the customer. Manage all subcontractors, other project managers, and all aspects the project.

  • Participate in weekly sales and production meetings.

  • Diligently follow-up on leads and sales appointments received through various sources including company generated, self-generated, referrals, trade alliances, professional organizations, etc.

  • Conduct post follow-up with homeowners after project completion to determine satisfaction; ask for referrals.

  • Comply with company practices and procedures designed to increase sales, enhance profitability, and develop satisfied customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of sales consulting experience

  • Home improvement/energy efficient sales experience preferred

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Verifiable references & ability to pass a background check
