Duties:
We currently seek a Renewable Energy Project Developer to focus on Wind, Biomass, and other Renewable Energy solutions, including negotiation of contracts, project financing and organization. This position is based in Framingham, MA.
- Identify and pre-qualify opportunities to form alliances with organizations providing energy services.
- Successfully organize, prepare and issue winning grants, technical proposals, reports and presentations to foster energy services business development.
- Manage financial, legal, technical requirements of the development of energy asset projects.
- Negotiate agreements with third party purchasers/suppliers for renewable power and energy asset projects, including energy, fuel supply and transportation, land lease, construction, equipment purchase.
- Cultivate customer relationships and participate in market planning and sales strategies.
- Ensure quality project delivery on time and within budget while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required, MBA desirable.
- Minimum 5 years' wind, biomass, or renewable energy Project
- Development experience required.
- Extensive financial planning and budget experience, with ability to develop a business case required.
- Excellent oral, written, computer communication and presentation skills required.
- Valid Drivers' License issued by state of residence and in good standing required.
- Ability to travel overnight required.
