Description
Duties:
The Program Officer is responsible for day-to-day contact with the Country
Director and other staff in one or two international program implementation
offices and acts as the primary liaison between the home office and
international offices. Works closely with and reports to Regional Director.
Responsiblities include oversight of project activities and expenses, monitoring
results, submitting reports, reviewing documents, budget development and
technical assisitance. Int'l travel up to 3 months per year.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of program management and support experience; budget
management, proposal and development; experience in civil society,
community development, or environmental programs; excellent oral and
written skills; familiarity with US foreign assistance programs; experience in
word processing, spreadsheets, internet; effectively multi-task and work in
teams and individually.
